Avocado Orchard

The Carp Children’s Farm boasts an avocado orchard of over 170 avocado trees. They are of the Dwarf Gem varietal, they look similar to a Hass, but are a little smaller. We are very proud of our Avocados. The children get to help care for them, prune them, pick them, and sell them! Within the first two rows of the Avocado Groves, children have created all sorts of wonderful games and zones. Grove of fairy houses that the students have made. It is also a make-believe restaurant location that the students love to play at lunch time.
